Local Ice is the only non-profit Shave Ice Truck serving Sarasota and its surrounding cities the THE BEST SHAVE ICE IN FLORIDA! Our mission is to give away as many FREE GROCERIES as possible to ANYONE who is in a food emergency and to serve the THE BEST SHAVE ICE IN FLORIDA! We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization created to help local families, single parents and the elderly by supplementing them with free groceries purchased with 100 % of our profits. 100% of our profits makes it possible for Local Ice and The Church SRQ to give away free food on the 1st Sunday of every month from 11a-noon at the Church SRQ, 3675 Clark Road, Sarasota, FL. The Church SRQ is a proud member of All Faiths Food Bank.
